Salary: Expected Hiring Range Minimum $23.56 – Maximum $27.46

The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training and internal pay comparison. The above hiring range represents the University s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

Position Type: Full-Time/Regular

Responsibilities
  • On-air engineering and production of WBUR broadcast quality audio, consisting primarily of live on-air console operation (Operator on Duty for the station s live broadcast) and digital editing/mixing and recording.
  • Provide coverage for vacation and sick-time of other Broadcast Recording Technicians and Technical Directors, and additional support as required.
  • Work early and late hours, and weekends and holidays as required in a flexible shift arrangement.
  • Assist the Production Manager in scheduling and management of WBUR studio usage.
Required Skills / Qualifications
  • Vocational or Technical Training required.
  • Bachelor s degree or relevant experience required.
  • 1-3 years experience in related field.
  • Advanced proficiency and experience with Pro Tools audio editing software.
  • Prior audio experience with professional level mixing boards in a recording or radio environment. Ability to troubleshoot signal flow and operate various types of audio rack gear including audio processing and codec equipment.
  • Familiar with Office 365 email/calendaring suite.
