Job Summary

For this part time contract role, we are seeking a professional, and detail-oriented Wedding Content Creation Associate to join our growing wedding company. In this role, the associate will represent City Lux on-site at weddings, capturing authentic, behind-the-scenes moments using the latest iPhone and other equipment while working seamlessly alongside photographers, videographers, planners, and guests.

Initially this job is for select dates in 2026. Once accepted and trained and part of the City Lux team the associate can expect more weddings and events the following year. There is potential to grow with us, as well as working with and assisting our other teams.

Most of our clients and events are in Boston, however we also cover Newport and travel throughout New England with occasional travel to other areas.

Qualifications

• Experience filming high-quality video and photo content using an iPhone, preferably in weddings, events, or lifestyle content
• Strong understanding of social cues, professionalism, and appropriate behavior in intimate, high-pressure environments
• Ability to represent the brand and communicate courteously with clients and vendors when needed
• Dependable with the understanding that a wedding is the most important day for a client
• Excellent attention to detail
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to wedding venues as scheduled
• Comfort working independently while following clear creative direction
• Strong time management skills and reliability, as weddings are time-sensitive events

Responsibilities

• In this role, associates will represent City Lux on-site at weddings, capturing authentic, behind-the-scenes moments using an iPhone while working seamlessly alongside photographers, videographers, planners, and guests
• This is a paid, contractor, field-based role ideal for someone who understands the importance of discretion, social awareness, and professionalism while documenting one of the most meaningful days of a couple’s life
• Attend weddings and related events as an on-site content creator, representing the company with professionalism
• Capture candid, behind-the-scenes video content and photos using an iPhone
• Work respectfully and collaboratively with wedding vendors including photographers, videographers, planners, and venue staff
• Demonstrate strong social awareness, knowing when to step in to capture moments and when to remain unobtrusive
• Follow shot lists, creative direction, and brand standards provided prior to each event
• Ensure all content is captured thoughtfully, discreetly, and with sensitivity to the emotional significance of the day
• Maintain organization of captured content and deliver files promptly following the event using our system
• Adapt quickly to fast-paced, ever-changing wedding day timelines while remaining calm and professional
