Position: Operations Publishing Analyst

Location: Hybrid 3 days/week in Boston, MA

Duration: 12+ month contract with possibility for extensions

This is a mid-level hybrid role that will be focused on multiple aspects of publishing production. Must be local to Boston, outgoing, and a team player. 2+ years of experience with proficiency in MS Office and Adobe InDesign needed. This candidate must have proficiency and recent experience with InDesign, used heavily during Quarter-End months. This will be a team collaborative type of role with 6 other members on the team.

Purpose

As a key member of the Operations Publishing Team, you will participate in a broad range of tasks and responsibilities that involve Factsheets, Flyers, Sales Ideas/Marketing Materials, Forms and Applications, and Regulatory documents. Time will be spent on processes such as production, reviews, edits, and publishing.

Principle Responsibilities
  • You will work with the Publishing Manager to understand and prioritize materials requirements. Using knowledge of PC desktop programs, designs, and formats to produce documents for print, electronic publication and production in a timely and deadline-sensitive manner. You will perform these copy/document edits using primarily InDesign / Illustrator on a PC platform. You will deliver PDFs for review to other members of the team, manage electronic and hardcopy files, and collect files for output for upload to printer and translation vendors.

    You will also be responsible for file management and other Desktop Production "housekeeping" duties.
  • You will assist in managing the publishing and delivery of Domestic and Offshore Regulatory documents.
  • You will assist in managing the process for updating factsheets and other sales collateral on a monthly and quarterly basis. These factsheets and performance reports are semi-automated requiring review from both the Associate and the Quality Control team.
  • You will perform additional duties as requested.
  • You will ensure all materials are accurate and that timelines are met.
  • You will be expected to manage multiple projects/deliverables with competing deadlines on a daily basis, and to accommodate changing priorities.
Required Skills, Qualifications, & Experience
  • 2+ years of experience
  • Thorough knowledge of PC based programs including, but not limited to:
    InDesign, Illustrator, Excel, Word, Outlook, and other Microsoft applications
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to self-proof. Ability to manage individual projects, multitask and problem solve when issues or questions arise
  • Willingness to learn, attention to detail, and the ability to stay organized in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work both collaboratively in a team environment, as well as independently
