As part of our Cities & Places Market, you'll join a team that draws on deep expertise in strategic planning, architecture, design, interiors, engineering, program and construction management, natural sciences, and the arts to deliver best in class buildings and bring vibrant communities to life.

Our global portfolio spans governments, commercial developers, higher education and healthcare institutions, and industrial clients across both public and private sectors-including specialized consulting in asset management, economics, digital infrastructure, and life sciences.

As we expand our presence in the Boston region, we're looking for a Project Manager who brings strong experience in interiors, small capital projects, and renovation work. In this role, you'll lead projects from concept through closeout-ensuring alignment with client goals while driving scope, schedule, budget, quality, and stakeholder coordination throughout every stage of delivery.

What You'll Do

* Manage a portfolio of interiors and small-scale renovation/tenant improvement projects from planning through project closeout

* Oversee scope, schedule, budget, risk management, and performance metrics to ensure successful project outcomes

* Serve as the primary client interface, building and maintaining strong relationships and ensuring client satisfaction

* Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams including architects, interior designers, engineers, consultants, and construction partners

* Develop project execution plans, professional services fee estimates, procurement strategies, and design  schedules

* Facilitate user group meetings, design reviews, stakeholder workshops, and decision-making sessions

* Manage contract administration, including change orders, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation

* Ensure adherence to Jacobs' quality and safety standards, as well as compliance with regulatory requirements

* Support business development by contributing to proposals, interviews, and client presentations

* Provide mentoring, guidance, and leadership to early-career team members

* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, or related field

* 8+ years of project management experience delivering interiors, renovations, tenant improvements, or small-capital projects

* Strong working knowledge of project budgeting, scheduling, and contract administration

* Demonstrated leadership experience managing multidisciplinary project teams

* Proven ability to manage client relationships and oversee projects across all phases of planning, design, and construction

* Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools (e.g., MS Project, SharePoint, MS Teams, and Bluebeam) and familiarity with BIM/REVIT workflows

Ideally, You'll Also Have

* Professional credentials such as Registered Architect, PMP, LEED AP, NCIDQ, or similar

* Experience with corporate interiors, workplace environments, higher education, life sciences, or public-sector clients

* Experience performing work in occupied or operational facilities

* Familiarity with Jacobs processes, quality standards, and delivery methodologies

* Strong facilitation, negotiation, and presentation skills

* Experience with alternative delivery methods (design-build, CM-at-risk, etc.)
