Description
As a Construction Laborer, a typical day might include the following:
- Assisting with construction tasks at new retail locations, including demolition, framing, drywall, flooring, and finish work
- Supporting and working with carpenters, electricians, and other trades on-site as needed
- Unloading, organizing, and moving construction materials and equipment
- Operating hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Installing fixtures, furniture, and displays in accordance with design specifications
- Keeping the job site clean, safe, and organized throughout each phase of the project
- Following instructions from the Site Supervisor and communicating effectively with the team
- Ensuring work meets safety standards and complies with site-specific requirements
- Traveling to job sites as needed; some out-of-state work may be required
- Other duties as assigned
This job might be for you if you demonstrate the following abilities and meet the following qualifications:
- 1-3 years of general construction or related experience preferred
- Comfortable using hand tools and basic power equipment
- Strong work ethic, physical stamina, and ability to lift heavy materials
- Willingness to work flexible hours and travel to job sites as needed
- Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions with attention to detail
- Basic knowledge of construction site safety protocols
- Experience in retail or commercial construction is a plus

- Travel required both within and outside of the New England area
