Are you passionate about helping young children learn and grow? Longwood Medical Area Child Care Center (LMACCC) is looking for a caring and dedicated Part-Time Teacher to join our warm and supportive team!
This is a great opportunity for educators who love working with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers and want a flexible schedule that fits their availability. If you have experience in child care, a love for teaching, and a desire to make a positive impact, we’d love to meet you!
What You’ll Do:- Gain hands‑on experience floating through infant, toddler, and preschool classrooms as needed!
- Assist the Program Coordinators as needed
- Hours are a minimum from 6:30 am through 10 am (full shift being 6:30‑2:30 pm or 7‑3 pm) and at the end of the day minimally from 2:30 pm‑6 pm (full shift being 10‑6 pm).
- Create a safe, welcoming, and encouraging learning environment
- Foster strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and fellow educators
- EEC certification in Infant/Toddler and/or Preschool (required)
- At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED (Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required)
- Experience working with children in child care, daycare, or preschool settings
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors, lift at least 35 lbs, and actively engage with children while ensuring their safety at all times
- Positive, patient, and nurturing personality
- A genuine love for working with young children
- Ability to multi‑task and manage multiple situations effectively
- Strong understanding of developmentally appropriate practices
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with parents and team members
- Competitive Pay Rate: $20.50 per hour
