Summary

The Summer Internship Program at Jennison Associates is a 10 week program that includes a variety of events and projects to provide students with a challenging and meaningful experience. This program was created and formalized with the goal of preparing students for their future by enhancing their industry knowledge and expanding their professional network, while providing them with a real‑life work experience.

Impact

The Business Analyst Intern will receive a hands‑on, comprehensive understanding of Jennison's data and technology infrastructure and systems integration.

The Business Analyst Intern will support the Fixed Income Department on several data‑driven strategic projects.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Project Team support:
    • Conduct user requirements gathering
    • Document user requirements, workflow procedures and problems
  • Assist with user acceptance testing: testing, tracking and documentation of defects
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
  • Communicate confidently in a clear and concise manner
  • Demonstrate problem solving skills
Your Required Skills
  • We are currently seeking a candidate who is highly motivated, possesses excellent communication skills, and has the ability to work in a busy environment while multi‑tasking
  • Positive attitude with an ability to work collaboratively in a supportive role
  • Rising Sophomore, Junior, or Senior
  • College student working towards a BA/BS in Data Science, Business Administration or related degree
  • Availability to work up to 40 hours per week
  • Availability to work 10 weeks (beginning in June to mid‑August approximately)
  • This role is located in Boston and is anticipated to work in alignment with Jennison's hybrid model (physically in office 3 days per week and working remote alternative days).

The hourly rate for this role is $30/hour and rates for this role may vary based on various factors including but not limited to, years of experience, range in corporate level, candidate skills, and geographic location. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including but not limited to, individual and organizational performance.
