What you’ll be doing

You’ll be responsible for supporting the Regional Product Manager(RPM) with developingaproductrange, managing supplier relationships, ensuring high levelsof service delivery to clients and sales teams,maintainingaccurateproductcontentand providing sales teams with training and support.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Work with suppliers to deliver a qualityproductrange and differentiation
  • Pro-actively review competitor product offering on a regular basis across all markets and stay close to new developments via travel media, touristboardand supplier updates
  • Develop an effective information flow with sales teams to help identify product gaps and product performance while reinforcing approach to consolidation
  • Help develop strong relationships to ensure Audley has an effective and functioning partnership with the very best suppliers
  • Routinely evaluate supplier performance and share observations and proposed actions with the RPM where applicable
  • Attend quarterly supplier meetings, assisting with preparation and actions
  • Attend trade events as required
  • Assist with tender process, analysis and contracting
  • Establish feedback channels with suppliers and sales teams to ensure system text, product information and client documentation is accurate
  • Review client feedback and act to correct inaccuracies and improve product content where applicable
  • Provide proactive product support to sales teams in all markets
  • Manage helpdesk requests (Cases)
  • Manage familiarisation (fam) trip objectives, coordinate planning of the trip itself, briefings and facilitates sharing of information on return.
  • Maintain accuracy of existing suppliers and product components, ensuring updates from sales or suppliers are acted in a timely manner
  • Provide product content for website including itineraries.
About you

You have strong knowledge and experience in product, including new product development, ideally gained within a tailor‑made travel company or similar tour operator. You’re a confident communicator who listens, values different viewpoints, and works well with others. You take a practical, thoughtful approach to developing and improving travel products, always looking for ways to make them better for customers.

Other key experience needed:
  • Previous experience of product development
  • Destination knowledge of Southern Europe or the Middle East is desirable
  • A good communicator that listens and seeks out different views with an innovative approach to product
  • Possess a positive and enthusiastic attitude who is comfortable interacting with others, work as part of a team and share knowledge, ideas and adopt best practices
  • Flexible to changing priorities and new processes
  • Have a strong desire to get things right and be a natural organiser who can multitask
  • Maintain knowledge of the latest industry trends and news
  • Have a passion for self-development and to proactively improve knowledge and learn from experiences
  • Comfortable working independently
  • Work to given timescales in a fast‑paced environment and be self‑motivated
  • Demonstrates good emotional intelligence and strong self‑awareness
  • Ability to develop strong relationships externally and internally

Location

In person days will be hosted in our beautiful Boston, MA office located in the North End! We ask that employees are office‑based for a minimum of 3 days per week.
