The Lead Procurement Analyst, Supplier Inclusion is responsible for program management and driving the strategic direction of Supplier Inclusion Program within the procurement organization. You will lead others within the Procurement organization to optimize supplier inclusion procurement processes, implement best practices, and ensure operational efficiency. You will provide leadership and expertise to contribute to the achievement of organizational goals and objectives related to procurement.

You will report to Senior Manager, Sourcing & Procurement.

In this flex office/home role, you will be expected to work a minimum of 10 days per month from one of the following office locations:
Madison, WI 53783;
Boston, MA 02110

Primary Accountabilities
  • You will develop and implement the strategic vision and roadmap for the procurement program, aligning with organizational goals and objectives.
  • You will lead a team of procurement specialists, analysts, and project managers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to achieve program objectives.
  • You will establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, including finance, legal, operations, IT and risk stakeholders, to ensure alignment and collaboration on procurement initiatives.
  • You will establish and maintain strategic partnerships with external organizations, as applicable identifying mutually beneficial opportunities to increase engagement, and foster connections toward organizational goals and objectives.
  • You will define and implement standardized procurement processes, procedures, and policies to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and mitigate risks.
  • You will lead cross-functional initiatives to streamline procurement workflows, improve operational effectiveness, and enhance the overall performance of the procurement function.
  • You will develop and maintain procurement performance metrics, dashboards, and scorecards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and measure program effectiveness.
  • You will identify opportunities for process automation and technology solutions to enhance procurement operations and drive innovation.
  • You will lead strategic sourcing and supplier management activities, including vendor selection, negotiation, and contract management, to achieve cost savings and ensure supplier performance as it applies.
  • You will drive continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement program, leveraging tools.
  • You may be required to complete other assignments or participate in projects based upon skills, achievements, or experience.
Specialized Knowledge, Skills, and Education Requirements
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes, procedures, and best practices, with demonstrated experience in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier management.
  • Extensive experience leading cross-functional teams and driving change management initiatives in a complex organizational environment.
  • Proficiency in procurement systems and tools, such as ERP software, financial systems, procurement platforms, and contract management systems.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights to support decision‑making.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement strategic initiatives to optimize procurement operations and achieve organizational objectives.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, including team management, coaching, and development.
  • Demonstrated experience deploying procure‑to‑pay/supply chain processes to contracts and spend categories.
  • Demonstrated experience leading large complex projects.
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of contract negotiation techniques.
