** What you will be doing:
** The Logistics Co-op supports the Vertex Global logistics team in driving efficient, compliant, and reliable product movement across the network. This role provides hands-on experience in Logistics Strategy, transportation and warehouse operations, and decision support for new product introductions and other strategic initiatives. The co-op assists in analyzing supply chain performance metrics, supporting Logistics Supplier evaluations, and contributing to strategic projects that enhance service, cost, and compliance within the global pharmaceutical network.

This position offers exposure to end-to-end pharmaceutical logistics — including cold chain management, regulatory requirements, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders in a global environment— to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of life science products to patients worldwide.
** Logistics Strategy*
* · Support the logistics strategy team in analyzing transportation, warehousing, and distribution network performance
· Participate in projects focused on logistics optimization, supplier capability assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives.
· Contribute to network design to support new product introductions and lifecycle management planning.
· Conduct market research to identify trends, risks, and innovation opportunities within pharmaceutical logistics.
· Provide administrative and analytical support for strategic presentations, supplier meetings, and internal governance reviews
** Network Performance Process and Systems*
* · Assist in data collection, reporting, and visualization of key logistics metrics such as service level, cost, and compliance.
· Help evaluate logistics partners through performance scorecards and strategic capability benchmarking.

Support development of logistics standard operating procedures (SOPs) and documentation to enhance consistency and compliance.
** What you will need to succeed:
*** Enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business, or another related field
* If pursuing a bachelor’s degree, previous co-op/internship experience in Supply Chain preferred
* Problem-solving skills with proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and Power Point
* Familiarity with supply chain planning, transportation, and warehouse management concepts.
* Comfortable working with datasets to generate insights and support strategic decision-making.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills to engage with cross-functional teams and external partners.
