Position: VP, Head of Sales US (Corporates)

In this dynamic role, you’ll collaborate with senior stakeholders, focusing on external sales to generate revenue through new client acquisition. Your responsibilities include developing and maintaining relationships with both new and existing intermediaries. As a key contributor, you’ll work independently and within a team, closely collaborating with global sales colleagues, local teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure an optimal client experience.

We seek an accomplished sales professional driven by success, methodical, and persistent, with a proven track record in external sales. You’ll closely collaborate with other key stakeholders in this role.

This full-time, permanent role provides flexibility. A hybrid role, requiring a minimum of three days in the office or field. Location for this position is flexible, ideally on the East or West Coast. Join us in shaping the future of ZEDRA’s commercial success.

Key Accountabilities
  • Drive new sales revenue for your territory, primarily for our corporate & global expansion sector
  • Achieve and surpass new business targets, implementing innovative business development initiatives
  • Actively contribute to achieving the Company’s financial targets
  • Initiate and conduct exploratory meetings with prospects, involving SMEs as needed
  • Develop and implement strategies for building a robust pipeline of new business deals with corporates, asset managers, and intermediaries
  • Work closely with intermediaries, developing relationships to increase the number of referrals in line with the broader intermediary commercial strategy
  • Ensure continuous updates to the CRM system with all contact and activity recorded accurately
  • Collaborate with global business development colleagues to achieve business sales objectives
  • Build strong internal relationships globally to help drive upsell and support on cross-border mandates
  • Facilitate effective cooperation with global sales colleagues across the Group, identifying cross-selling opportunities across all Zedra client sectors
  • Contribute to building the Zedra brand, increasing brand awareness to generate quality leads
  • Collaborate with marketing to develop and author thought leadership articles, client newsletters, marketing materials, and other relevant collateral
  • Manage seamless client handover through onboarding to the operational teams for new clients
  • Attend and actively participate in industry events, including conferences, seminars, breakfast briefings, and evening events
  • Engage in firm-wide initiatives as they arise
  • Some international travel may be required
  • Manage and coach sales team members
Knowledge & Experience
  • 15+ years of high-growth business development/sales experience
  • Expertise in corporate services, strong technical skills
  • Commercially driven with deep knowledge of the growth company market
  • Proven track record in new business generation, meeting quotas consistently for the last three years
  • Extensive network in corporate scale-up, multinational, VC/PE, and broader ecosystem including intermediaries and local business networks
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, effective communicator at all levels
  • Self-motivated team player with the ability to work independently
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels under pressure, and meets deadlines
  • Solution-driven mindset, adept at problem-solving within corporate policies
  • Strong time management, organisational, and IT skills
  • Willingness to travel
  • Meticulous attention to detail, flexibility, and excellent organisational skills
