About the Opportunity:

GSG is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Analyst to join our dynamic team. The Enterprise Vendor Management (EVM) team supports strategic initiatives and firm-wide objectives through the global management of labor and non-labor vendors for the purpose of delivering high-quality vendor products and services, while optimizing the total cost of ownership.

Responsibilities
  • Be a trusted partner for business units to advise on strategy, planning, and rationalization. EVM (Enterprise Vendor Management) will own issue escalation, contracts management, sourcing, and negotiations.
  • Establish strong relationships with vendors to understand their offerings, strengths, and weaknesses to maximize value to the business.
  • Maintain knowledge of new and existing vendor products, emerging trends, and an understanding of how vendors’ products are used across the firm.
  • Lead vendor sourcing events (RFI, RFP, RFQ processes), including vendor selection, contract negotiation, and ongoing vendor management.
  • Provide sourcing and contract support to internal business teams, with a primary focus on assisting the Marketing and Communications team, while collaborating with other teams as required.
  • Research and establish contract negotiation strategies with business partners to achieve highest value.
  • Manage vendor strategy meetings and effectively communicate vendor updates to senior leadership.
  • Manage upcoming renewals for assigned list of vendors.
  • Develop contracts based on current and anticipated needs.
  • Review and redline contract commercial terms.
  • Partner closely with Legal and other Subject Matter Experts to mitigate risk and vet supplier qualifications.
  • Analyze spend category and work closely with business to perform vendor rationalization and cost savings analysis on a regular basis.
  • Assist with projects related to assigned vendors or spend categories, including marketing-related initiatives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 5–10 years of experience in strategic sourcing, contract management, or vendor management, ideally supporting internal business teams such as Marketing or Communications.
  • Excellent contract management and negotiation skills.
  • Creative problem solver, analytical skills.
  • Broad knowledge of vendor categories, including Marketing, Communications, Technology, and professional services.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external partners.
  • Lean and contribute to a dynamic and changing work environment.
  • Organized and results-oriented with a sense of urgency.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and a good team player.
