Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Events Manager role based in Boston, MA. The Events Manager will be responsible for coordinating and executing private and corporate events, managing event budgets, liaising with clients, and overseeing event logistics. Additional tasks include staff coordination, vendor management, ensuring a seamless guest experience, and maintaining compliance with company standards and event regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for events.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and stakeholders to enhance event offerings.
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients and assess competitive landscape.
- Collaborate with marketing and event planning teams to create promotional materials and campaigns.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to senior management.
- Provide support to service as needed.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Event Planning and Coordination, including scheduling, logistics, and budgeting
- 3 years of experience as a Restaurant Manager in the hospitality industry, overseeing daily operations, staff management, and guest satisfaction.
- Skills in Vendor Management and Contract Negotiation
- Strong Interpersonal and Communication Skills to liaise with clients, teams, and vendors
- Organizational and Time Management capabilities to handle multiple events simultaneously
- Proficiency in Event Management Software and familiarity with tools for tracking and reporting
- Ability to thrive in high-pressure, fast-paced environments
- Prior experience in the hospitality or events industry is highly desirable
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field is preferred
Salary Range: $65,000 - 75,000
