Our client operates one of the nation’s largest mass transit systems, serving millions of residents across a broad regional network of bus, rapid transit, streetcar, trolley, and commuter rail services. The organization maintains a diverse fleet and extensive infrastructure to deliver dependable public transportation and continues a long tradition of innovation and progress.
Responsibilities- Analyze and interpret telecommunications billing data to validate charges and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
- Develop reports and presentations to communicate findings to management and stakeholders.
- Track and monitor KPIs for telecommunications usage, costs, uptime, and time to repair.
- Review contracts to ensure favorable rates and terms, with knowledge of ITT
72 considered a plus. - Collaborate with vendors to resolve billing disputes and service issues.
- Stay current on telecommunications technologies and industry trends.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records of all telecommunications assets and services.
- Verify E‑911 location information for applicable services.
- Identify and implement process improvements to streamline expense management.
- 5 or more years of experience in telecommunications expense management with a clear focus on expense management versus general telecom analysis.
- Hands‑on TEM experience on the cellular side with emphasis on cost controls.
- Advanced SQL and Excel proficiency for data analysis and reporting.
- Familiarity with ITT
72 (preferred).
