Responsibilities- Source and distribute actionable leads to wholesalers based on current takeaway opportunities, leveraging tools such as Broker Dealer Data Packs, Wallet share, Fintrix, Discovery Database, Opportunity Hunter, Power BI, Broadridge, etc.
- Provide notifications for sales teams that identify takeaway opportunities, including what to talk about.
- Help with business and pipeline development of all product lines including Mutual Funds, ETFs, SMA, and CIT.
- Provide fund insight and ideas to the sales force on areas of competitive advantage (funds, firms, branches, platform and advisors).
- Regularly scheduled meetings/calls with external and internal wholesalers.
- Ensure the tools we develop to increase efficiencies are used at the appropriate levels through training.
- Improve advisor targeting and segmentation.
- Analyze flow information and competitive analysis created by internal performance data team and combine with 3rd party data to enhance sales strategy.
- Analyze results of newly implemented strategies and monitor progress.
- Build out combined prospecting and intelligence capabilities for more autonomous insight.
- Attend appropriate industry events, trade conferences and client functions.
- Collaborate with marketing on marketing campaigns.
- Collaborate with all departments within Intermediary Sales including Retail, RIA, DCIO, National Accounts and Offshore.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance or related field.
- 5+ years of Asset Management experience.
- Series 7 and 63 licenses preferred.
- Strong understanding of the marketplace, financial markets, investment products, attribution analysis and product positioning.
- Sales background preferred (Internal Wholesaler).
- Keen handle on competitive marketplace covering the range of products from fundamental asset classes to alternatives.
- Ability to work under pressure and to meet precise deadlines.
- Must maintain up to date knowledge of most recent industry developments.
- Ability to turn sales concepts into actionable leads.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Strong Excel skills needed, Power BI familiarity preferred.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to take complex financial information and convey it in a succinct and understandable way.
- Team player who is able to share ideas and add value to the group.
- Coachable – able to work closely in a 1:1 environment with an RSD and to take direction.

The target base salary range for this position is $125,000 - $175,000. Salaries are determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data/ranges, applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees, and certifications. Victory Capital Management operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and total compensation may vary based on role, location, department and individual performance. Victory Capital Management’s total compensation package includes the opportunity for annual compensation bonuses and/or commissions and a generous benefits package.
