About the Role

The Client Support Specialist is a key member of the Firm’s business development and client engagement team. This strategic, hands-on role supports the Firm’s client growth efforts by identifying new opportunities, managing key relationships, and executing thoughtful marketing and event initiatives.

Working both independently and collaboratively, the Specialist will use sound judgment, creativity, and initiative to retain and expand the Firm’s client base, represent the Firm at conferences, and contribute to its long-term growth strategy.

Key Focus Areas
  • Lead the planning and coordination of conference sponsor ships, registrations, and attendance, ensuring alignment with the Firm’s growth objectives.
  • Identify, evaluate, and pursue high-potential prospective clients through independent research and strategic outreach.
  • Manage logistics for conferences and events, including material preparation, shipping, and inventory of marketing assets.
  • Conduct detailed prospect research and deliver actionable insights and recommendations to firm leadership.
  • Represent the Firm at industry events, engaging confidently with prospective clients and tailoring outreach to varied audiences.
  • Plan and support client-focused events such as dinners and engagement trips, applying strong judgment regarding timing, budget, and goals.
  • Build and nurture relationships within the planned giving community, exercising autonomy in managing follow-up and outreach.
  • Support new client onboarding, ensuring a smooth and professional client experience through collaboration with internal teams.
  • Create and distribute quarterly client statements and marketing materials using Canva.
  • Monitor lead generation tools and client dashboards to identify new opportunities and needed updates.
  • Contribute creative ideas and proactive solutions to support the Firm’s mission and growth.
What You Bring
  • Prior administrative or client support experience preferred.
  • Prior experience with business development and sales tasks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Canva.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly proactive, self-directed, and solution-oriented.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Team-oriented with strong collaboration and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
