Works is seeking an experienced Head of Business Operations to oversee and strengthen the company’s operational framework across the world. This role, akin to a COO, will be pivotal in driving operational excellence, scalability, and cross-functional collaboration to support sustained growth in a fast-evolving Data & AI executive search environment.

• Lead and optimize day-to-day operations across business units to ensure efficiency, quality, and scalable processes.
• Collaborate closely with leadership teams across business development, advisory, and technology to align operations with strategic objectives.
• Develop and implement operational policies, standards, and performance metrics to support growth and client satisfaction.
• Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and resource allocation in partnership with finance and executive leadership.
• Lead process improvement initiatives leveraging technology and data-driven insights to enhance productivity.
• Manage vendor and partner relationships to ensure high service levels and cost-effectiveness.
• Drive onboarding, development, and retention strategies for internal teams to build strong operational capabilities.
• Ensure regulatory compliance, risk management, and data privacy standards are upheld across regions.
• Provide regular reporting and analysis of operational KPIs and progress towards objectives to the CEO and Board.

• 15+ years of progressive operational leadership experience, preferably in executive search, professional services, or technology sectors.
• Proven track record of managing multi-regional operations with complex stakeholder environments.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset.
• Experienced in leading cross-functional teams and driving process improvements at scale.
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-growth environments within Data, AI, or tech-related sectors.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal teams and external partners.
• Demonstrated ability to manage financial performance and operational risks.
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
