Product Market Strategy Lead – Collector
We are looking for a Product Market Strategy lead to join our Collector Product within our Product Management organization. This role drives strategy for our customers, defining what to build and who to serve, and translating market opportunities into actionable business plans.
Base pay range$/yr - $/yr
Job Responsibilities- Lead the development of business cases and product‑market strategy.
- Collaborate across teams to gather and synthesize quantitative and qualitative data, research, and insights to support strategic initiatives.
- Partner with cross‑functional leaders to influence product strategy and shape the vision and go‑to‑market plans of athenahealth products.
- Execute on the go‑to‑market strategy for new product launches and manage complex cross‑functional projects.
- Support organizational alignment around a shared vision and roadmap features to deliver value.
- Define value proposition, packaging, pricing, and, where applicable, P&L, collaborating with sales, finance, and marketing.
- Assist product management teams in developing roadmaps aligned with vision and initiatives.
- Work with product analytics and client analytics to determine aligned KPIs, insights, dashboards.
- Bachelor’s Degree, MA, MBA, or equivalent experience in Product Management/Strategy, Public Health, or Business.
- 5+ years of experience in product management or strategy roles, preferably in healthcare and revenue cycle management.
- Ability to lead market research and data‑driven analysis; combine multiple perspectives to define a strategic path forward.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to craft messaging, synthesize complex problems, and influence leadership.
- Experience developing and leading presentations to internal and external audiences.
- Complex project management skills preferred.
Base salary: $113,000 – $193,000. Total Rewards includes annual discretionary bonus, variable compensation plan, and equity plans.
