Business Development Manager (Private Equity Transactions, Strategic M&A and Industry)
We’ve partnered with a market-leading, global law firm to recruit a Business Development Manager who will support its Mergers & Acquisitions and Private Equity Transactions practices, as well as key industry groups including Healthcare, Hospitality, Technology, Media & Entertainment, Real Estate, and Sports. The ideal candidate will act as a strategic advisor to partners across the firm, shaping and executing integrated business development and marketing strategies on a global scale.
CompensationBase pay range: $160,000‑200,000 per year
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement business development strategies for the Private Equity Transactions and Strategic M&A practices and key industry groups, aligning with firmwide goals.
- Serve as a strategic partner to practice and industry group leadership, identifying growth opportunities, client expansion initiatives, and cross‑selling strategies.
- Oversee the preparation and delivery of high‑quality pitches, RFP responses, and presentations tailored to specific opportunities.
- Consult with partners on individual business development plans and support lateral partner integration efforts.
- Manage and support client‑facing events, sponsor ships, and thought leadership initiatives, tracking effectiveness and ROI.
- Collaborate with Marketing colleagues on award submissions, legal directory entries, and league table rankings.
We would love to speak with individuals who bring strong business development and marketing experience from a law firm or professional services environment. Prior experience supporting M&A, Private Equity, or industry‑focused practices would be particularly attractive.
