Responsibilities

  • Build, own, and continuously improve the company’s demand planning process and tools.
  • Develop detailed short-term and long-term sales forecasts by SKU, channel, and customer
  • Collaborate with the Supply Planner and Operations team to ensure production plans meet forecasted demand while optimizing working capital and minimizing stockouts
  • Partner closely with the Sales team to gather input on customer forecasts, promotional plans, and distribution changes — ensuring accuracy and accountability across the organization.
  • Deep dive into company’s Trade Promotion Management software and retailer data to ensure lifts are accurately forecasted in planning model
  • Monitor forecast accuracy and identify key drivers of variance, making data-backed recommendations for improvement
  • Own the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) demand build — ensuring alignment between Finance, Sales, and Operations
  • Lead demand review meetings as part of the S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) process.
  • Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and models to communicate forecast performance, risks, and opportunities
  • Drive continuous improvement in forecasting methodology and process efficiency.
  • Other projects and assignments as they come up
Requirements
  • 3–5+ years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain management (CPG industry preferred)
  • Strong Excel skills are required
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail, but proactively ask for help when necessary
  • Thrives in a high paced environment
  • Able to coordinate, respectfully challenge assumptions, and communicate timely with multiple departments
  • Willing to get your hands dirty - we’ve spent hours packing boxes and moving stuff around ourselves
