Senior Associate, PEPI - Merger Integration & Carve‑Outs
Join A&M’s Private Equity Performance Improvement (PEPI) practice as a Senior Associate in the Merger Integration & Carve‑Outs (MI&C) team. In this role, you will provide operational expertise across the full lifecycle of large, complex deals, working closely with clients to identify value opportunities and drive post‑deal execution.
Responsibilities- Provide service excellence by identifying key client business issues and developing recommendations in the context of overall engagements.
- Assist with work streams or focus areas within the Integration Management Office, such as Synergies, TSAs, Blueprinting, Day 1 Readiness, Executive Reporting, Integration Roadmap, Communications, or Organizational Design.
- Partner in Day‑1 and Day‑100 planning, execution, and performance improvement across strategic planning, operational optimization, back‑office consolidation, supply‑chain integration, IT/reporting integration, and customer/channel management.
- Lead performance improvement assessments, track progress against objectives, and adjust integration strategies as needed.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver insights and maintain stakeholder engagement.
- 4‑6+ years of professional consulting experience, specializing in merger integration, business transformation, or change management.
- Experience with integration planning and divestitures is a plus.
- Deep functional expertise in one or more of the following areas:
Finance & Accounting operations; HR / Organizational design;
Role & job analysis;
Leadership & stakeholder involvement;
Communications planning;
Knowledge management and transfer;
Program management and leadership. - MBA preferred.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills; strong initiative, critical thinking, and flexibility to travel up to 75% of the time.
