Sigma Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable GATB Test Proctor to support the administration of the General Aptitude Test Battery (GATB) onsite at 250 Washington Street, Boston, MA.

This is a part-time, temporary 3-month contract position supporting the Commonwealth of Massachusetts – Department of Public Health. The ideal candidate will ensure testing integrity, maintain confidentiality, and assist in all aspects of test administration logistics.

Under the supervision of professional testing staff, the Test Proctor will:

• Assist with organizing and transporting testing materials to the site

• Support room setup to ensure confidential and orderly seating arrangements

• Monitor test takers throughout the entire testing session

• Observe and address behaviors that may interfere with test validity

• Distribute and collect testing materials in proper sequence, including:

  • Pens and pencils

  • Answer sheets

  • Peg boards

  • Pin boards

  • Test booklets

• Assist the Staff Test Administrator with collating completed test materials

• Support breakdown of testing room and return of audio-visual materials as needed

• Maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism at all times

• Prior experience as a Test Proctor, Exam Monitor, Classroom Assistant, or Administrative Support preferred

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured procedures

• Ability to remain alert and attentive for extended periods

• Professional demeanor and ability to enforce testing rules respectfully

• Reliable transportation to onsite location in Boston, MA

• Ability to lift and transport testing materials when required
