Overview
Our client, a global strategy consulting firm, is seeking a Marketing Events Assistant to provide contract support through December. This is a full-time, onsite role located in Boston, working Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM, with an hourly pay range of $25-$32/hour. The company is a highly respected, fast-paced professional services organization known for delivering data-driven growth strategies and high-impact client engagements across industries.

- Support the planning and execution of external and internal events, including conferences, forums, round tables, and webinars
- Assist with event research, RFPs, sponsorship opportunities, and venue selection
- Coordinate logistics for virtual and in-person events (room layouts, AV, catering, travel, signage, materials, and décor)
- Manage sponsorship activities, vendor coordination, and hotel room blocks
- Create and maintain event participant lists, website postings, and social media images
- Oversee pre-, onsite, and post-event logistics and communications
- Prepare invitations, marketing materials, nametags, gift bags, and registration materials
- Track event feedback, attendance sources, budgets, and ROI; prepare reports for stakeholders
- Propose new ideas to enhance event planning processes and execution
- Bachelor's degree required
- 2-3+ years of corporate event planning experience, preferably customer-centric events
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional, multi-location teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
- Experience with CRM systems (Microsoft Dynamics a plus)
- Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills
Willingness to travel during busy event seasons as needed
