- Supports the service request process, entering and tracking service requests, closing out service requests and following up with any outstanding service requests.
- Updates the various maintenance logs.
- Provides administrative support to Maintenance and Office when needed.
- Creates and delivers notices to residents for inspections, pest control and general maintenance work.
- Supports preventive maintenance process and special projects.
- Manages maintenance follow‑up efforts with residents and vendors.
- Ensures quality control standards are followed.
- Assists with inventory management and general upkeep of the maintenance shop.
- Monitors and tracks monthly maintenance safety training.
- Supports the maintenance department in tracking and completing the unit turnover process.
- Additional administrative responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
- Basic proficiency with Yardi desirable.
- Fluent in English.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Highly organized and detail oriented.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with changing priorities.
- Deadline driven, strong initiative, professionalism.
- Strong computer proficiency (intermediate Word/Excel; advanced).
- Manual dexterity for office equipment.
- Ability to climb stairs and walk through the community.
Pay range: $22.00 – $26.00 per hour, influenced by skills, experience, qualifications, and location.
