The Dean’s Office at the Carroll School of Management is seeking a professional and organized Temporary Administrative Assistant. This role serves as the first point of contact for the office, providing essential administrative support to ensuring daily operations run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities- Front Desk Management: Serve as the primary receptionist for the Dean’s Office; greet and direct faculty, staff, students, and visitors with a high level of professionalism.
- Communications: Manage incoming calls and inquiries; answer phones, screen requests, and route messages to the appropriate parties.
- Scheduling & Coordination: Manage calendars for conference rooms and meeting spaces; assist in scheduling internal and external meetings.
- Event Support: Assist with the planning, logistics, and execution of school-wide events and special projects as needed.
- Office Administration: Perform general clerical duties including data entry, filing, mail distribution, and maintaining office supplies.
- Professional Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with faculty, staff, and students.
- Customer Service: A welcoming and helpful demeanor for front-desk reception duties.
