Under the supervision of the Site Administrator and/or designee, the Building Assistant will be responsible for the following:
Responsibilities- Maintenance and upkeep of facilities.
- Maintaining appropriate records for monthly reports.
- Taking inventory and ordering monthly building supplies.
- Managing and coordinating facility usage by internal and external means.
- Providing facility security (Building lock-up, monitoring membership desk, lobby).
- Performing related work as required.
- One (1) year of experience in Facilities Maintenance preferred.
- Good communication and organizational skills are preferred.
- Must be detail-oriented.
- Ability to work with diverse populations preferred.
- Ability to exercise good judgment and focus on detail as required by the job.
- Must have and maintain a current Massachusetts Driver's License.
Union/Salary Plan/Grade: SEIU/CC-4
Hours per week: 35
BOSTON RESIDENCY REQUIRED
