Accountant (Development) - Real Estate Investment and Developer in Boston, MA
Our client, a nationally recognized, privately held real estate development and investment firm behind some of the most transformative mixed‑use and large‑scale projects in the country, is looking to add an Accountant to their growing team. This person will be responsible for all aspects of accounting and reporting across a mixed portfolio of real estate asset classes and development stages. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high‑performing, collaborative team supporting a diverse portfolio of assets across various stages of development and operations.
Responsibilities:- Managing month‑end close, financial reporting, and reconciliations
- Preparing development funding requisitions and CAM/RET reconciliations
- Supporting budgeting, audit, tax, and GAAP reporting processes
- Partnering cross‑functionally with Development, Construction, and Property Management teams
- Assisting with process improvements and system enhancements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, CPA preferred
- 2–4 years of accounting experience, ideally focused on real estate, development, or property accounting
- Strong analytical skills
$70K - $90K base salary dependent on experience
