Accounts Payable Specialist

Accounts Payable Specialist - Boston, MA

Our client, a growing technology-focused company, is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to support day-to-day invoice processing and help refine core AP procedures. This role will work closely with the accounting team to manage vendor activity, support payment workflows, and assist with strengthening AP processes and controls.

• Enter and process invoices and payments in the AP systems
• Maintain and update vendor records and related documentation
• Support invoice routing, approvals, and scheduled payment runs
• Monitor and organize a shared AP inbox and respond to vendor inquiries
• Assist with AP reconciliations and backlog cleanup
• Contribute to improving AP processes and basic control procedures

• 6+ months of accounts payable or accounting experience
• Hands‑on experience with  and Quick Books Online
• Experience with AP process improvements or controls preferred
