Associate Director, Accounting Systems & Consolidation

Vertex is seeking an experienced and energized consolidation leader with accounting systems and process expertise to join our Global Accounting organization.
The Associate Director, Accounting Systems & Consolidation is responsible for overseeing the team’s performance of monthly consolidation tasks, supporting various process improvement and optimization initiatives, and collaborating with the IT department to enhance and upgrade key accounting systems. The ideal candidate is passionate about leveraging technology to streamline operations, improve efficiency, and modernize accounting processes.

** Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems; experience with Oracle EBS, HFM, and Black Line is preferred but not required

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail Strong organizational and time management abilities, capable of meeting tight deadlines Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams
** Education and Experience
** Minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on systems and/or consolidations The range provided is based on what we believe is a reasonable estimate for the base salary pay range for this job at the time of posting. This role is eligible for an annual bonus and annual equity awards. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay, in accordance with federal and state requirements.

Actual base salary pay will be based on a number of factors, including skills, competencies, experience, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
