Senior Accounting Consultant

A respected advisory firm is hiring experienced accounting professionals for project-based consulting roles in the Boston metropolitan area. This is a full-time, salaried position with competitive base compensation plus other incentives.

Location: Boston, MA (and other selected major U.S. markets)

Base pay range: $95,000.00/yr - $/yr

Seniority level: Associate

Job function: Accounting/Auditing

• Support clients through a variety of strategic finance and technical accounting projects
• Contribute to or lead initiatives such as fund accounting, general ledger close and process improvement, FP&A, budgeting and forecasting support, technical accounting (e.g., ASC 606, ASC 842, SEC reporting), IPO readiness and public company transformation, M&A preparation and integration
• Adapt quickly to new systems, tools, and team dynamics

• 3+ years of total experience in external audit, advisory, corporate accounting, and/or corporate finance
• 2+ years of experience in public accounting (required)
• CPA licensed or in process (preferred)
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and business acumen
• Experience with publicly traded companies/clients
• Comfortable in fast-paced, client-facing roles
• Excellent communication and adaptability in new environments
