Salary: $85,000 – $100,000 base + $5,000 sign-on bonus

Location: Boston, Massachusetts (Hybrid)

Hours: Reduced busy season compared to traditional public accounting firms

We are partnering with a high-growth, locally owned CPA firm in Boston that is expanding its tax team due to sustained organic growth
. This role has been newly created as part of continued expansion—not replacement hiring.

, driven entirely by client demand rather than acquisitions. Despite rapid growth, leadership has intentionally invested in staffing and process improvements to maintain a strong culture and a reduced busy season workload

As a Tax Senior Associate
, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality tax compliance and advisory services while working directly with clients and mentoring junior staff. This position offers meaningful responsibility, visibility with leadership, and a clear path for advancement.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing and reviewing individual and business tax returns (1040, 1065, 1120-S, 1120)
• Assisting with tax research and planning initiatives
• Managing multiple engagements and deadlines
• Communicating directly with clients on tax matters
• Training and mentoring staff accountants
