Description

Our client, a mission-driven professional services organization in the healthcare services sector, is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their growing Corporate Operations team. This is an excellent opportunity for an analytically minded accounting professional who enjoys being a true utility player and working cross-functionally across finance, payroll, AP, and AR.

Key Responsibilities

+ Payroll review, reconciliation, compliance support, and audit documentation

+ Accounts payable, vendor management, and invoice resolution

+ Subcontractor agreement audits and billing compliance

+ Cash application, AR reconciliation, and payment discrepancy resolution

+ Month-end close support, journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting

Requirements

What Our Client Is Looking For

+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business related

+ 2+ years of professional accounting experience (professional services preferred)

+ Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting

+

Experience with payroll systems, ERP/accounting software (Deltek highly preferred), and advanced Excel

+ Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities independently
