A fast-growing company seeks an Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team. This role supports the teams, ensuring accurate processing and recording of job-related expenses. The AP Specialist plays a vital role in maintaining the financial accuracy of projects, with opportunities to contribute to a collaborative and dynamic work environment.

• Review and validate incoming invoices, obtaining necessary approvals from project managers (PMs)
• Accurately input invoice data into Timberline/Sage 300 accounting software
• Compile and circulate weekly payable summaries for PM evaluation
• Collaborate with PMs to manage monthly billing and invoicing tasks
• Create and share monthly financial reports with PMs and the CFO
• Monitor and confirm the accuracy of project expenses and change orders

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field
• Minimum 1-2 years of accounts payable experience, ideally in construction or real estate industries
• Experience with accounting software such as Timberline/Sage 300, Timber Scan, or Avidis a strong advantage
• Familiarity with project contracts, invoices, and change orders
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
