Position: Accounting & Payroll Specialist/HR Support
Overview

Accounting & Payroll Specialist / HR Support

We are seeking a highly detailed and motivated individual who can analyze complex financial records and reports, oversee billings, costs, and subcontracts on assigned projects, input and reconcile invoices, process all aspects of payroll, and support Accounting & the Human Resources department, as required.

Responsibilities
  • Process all aspects of weekly payroll.
  • Assist with payroll reporting, recordkeeping, and benefit administration.
  • Input and maintain project-related records, including, but not limited to, change orders, progress billings, and subcontracts.
  • Review project job costing and ensure project billings are accurate.
  • Review and approve material supplier invoices.
  • Investigate project variances and submit variance analysis to CFO.
  • Assist project management with slip work change orders.
  • Input, reconcile, and review subcontractor change orders.
  • Report to project team and CFO on opportunities for additional billings.
  • Assist with annual financial and compliance audit preparations.
  • Cover reception desk tasks as needed.
  • Perform other accounting, human resources, and administrative duties, as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Education in accounting, human resources or relatable work experience.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Teams, and Word, as well as Adobe, and familiarity with accounting and payroll software.
