An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified RMN, OT, or Social Worker to work as a band 6 in the Boston Crisis and Home Treatment team. The team supports people experiencing an acute mental health episode in Boston, Skegness, Spalding, and the surrounding areas.
You will need to demonstrate a commitment to providing a high-quality standard of care, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a positive attitude toward change, and an ability to contribute to the evolving nature of the service. You will receive regular supervision from both management and clinical leads, and be expected to provide both to junior members of the team and students.
Training opportunities are available to support growth in the role. You will be expected to work shifts (long days) including nights, weekends, and bank holidays over 7 days, as the shift coordinator, crisis vehicle response team member, and as part of the home treatment team.
This vacancy is for 37.5 hours per week.
We offer 24‑hour services within our Inpatient, Crisis, and SPA teams. If you are successfully appointed to posts in these areas or others that might be specified, you will be required to work unsociable hours and shift patterns.
Main duties of the jobYou will be responsible for the coordination of care needs, assessment, planning, and implementation of evidence‑based care to a defined group of service users and their carers within the service catchment area. The post holder will provide professional advice and support to other agencies and members of the multi‑disciplinary team. The post will involve working within the Crisis Team, which includes the S136 Suite, Triage Car and the new Rapid Response Car pilot service.

- ENB
998 / FLIPS or equivalent - Evidence of specialised continued professional training (degree level) in clinical practice.
- Management training
- Relevant experience of working with adults with mental health needs, or clear evidence of substantial experience of working with individuals in crisis and skills transferable to both community and in‑patient settings.
- Experience of working with people with severe and enduring mental illnesses.
- Evidence of continuing professional development.
