We are seeking a dedicated Nursery Deputy Manager to join our clients nursery on a permanent basis. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about early childhood education and has a strong desire to contribute to the nurturing and development of young children.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Assist the Nursery Manager in the daily management and running of the nursery.
• Ensure the nursery provides a safe, caring, and stimulating environment for children.
• Help to plan, organise, and implement a programme of activities that meets the individual needs and interests of children in your area according to EYFS.
• Supervise and mentor nursery staff, ensuring professional development and high standards of care and education.
• Communicate effectively with parents and carers, ensuring a high level of customer service and engagement.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of children's development and learning journeys.
• Step into the Nursery Manager's role in their absence, ensuring the smooth running of the nursery.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and maintain the nursery's policies and procedures.

Required Skills &

Qualifications:

• NVQ Level 3 or above in Childcare or equivalent.
• Proven experience in a supervisory role within an early years setting.
• Strong understanding of the EYFS and child development.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team and to foster a supportive and nurturing environment.
• Commitment to professional development and staying updated with the latest developments in early childhood education.
