Trades ​/ Skilled Labor Technician, Maintenance Technician ​/ Mechanic

This field‑based role involves hazardous waste clean‑up, site remediation, equipment decontamination, and handling of hazardous materials. Days, Nights

• Ensure Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.
• Hands‑on operation of manual and automated hydroblasting equipment.
• Operation of special equipment, such as Ultra High‑Pressure pumps.
• Operate equipment by energizing the pumping equipment and/or any specialized hydroblasting and/or chemical cleaning equipment, vacuum trucks and cutting equipment being used on the job.
• May be required to examine surface cleaned to ensure conformance to company and customer expectations.
• Conduct routine and required maintenance on the unit and all peripherals, including industrial vacuum equipment and the disposal of hazardous and non‑hazardous materials.
• Perform routine maintenance on company equipment used on the job.
• Additional duties as assigned.

All candidates must successfully complete a background check, drug test, and physical examination.

• Experience with hydroblasting, vacuum trucks, warehouse/manufacturing, general labor, production, and industrial field experience is a plus but not required.

• Tools, equipment, and large machinery such as industrial cleaning equipment and vehicles.
• May periodically use computers for training purposes.
• Working conditions:
  
  outside work, extreme temperatures, noisy conditions, shift work, flexible schedules, on‑call hours, 24/7 availability.
• Physical effort required: heavy lifting, working with large machinery, confined spaces, and heights.
• Travel required:
  
  Regular overnight travel will be required for this position.

• Reliable transportation – valid driver’s license preferred.
• Physical ability to perform required functions.
• Must be willing to be on‑call; may work weekends, holidays, and emergency response situations extending up to 12‑24 hours.
• Ability to perform physical functions per job requirements.
• Successfully complete a background check, drug test, and physical examination.

• Specific vocational preparation including safety training and essential experience gained on other jobs.
• Language proficiency: understand English and respond to safety instructions in emergencies.
• Valid driver’s license and compliance with company driving policy.
• OSHA certification may be required.
• Knowledgeable in operation of emergency equipment, such as fire extinguishers.
• May need to provide Federal Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC).
