ASSISTANT CONVENIENCE STORE MANAGER (ALL LOCATIONS)

Shreveport, LA – Salary $90,000.00 - $. Full‑time.

We are currently seeking qualified managers to be responsible for all aspects of our store, which include video gaming and restaurant operations.

• Assist Manager with daily deposits, shift changes, staffing, training, vendors, merchandising, inventory maintenance, and customer service.
• Train and develop all new hires.
• Verify cashier daily paperwork to ensure balancing of each shift.
• Make deposits and manage cash handling, ensuring accurate daily sales reports.
• Ensure open/close shifts in a timely manner according to policy.
• Maintain inventory control and check vendor deliveries for invoice accuracy.
• Record daily transaction amounts from cash register and balance drawer.
• Bag merchandise, issue receipts, and redeem promotional coupons.
• Review price sheets to note price accuracy and changes on gas, deli, beer, liquor, tobacco, and all sale items.
• Record prices and departments accurately on register to ensure taxable items and totals are correct.
• Stock and clean shelves, price items, and maintain store appearance.
• Collect payments from customers, make change, and ensure legal age for tobacco, alcohol, and lottery sales.
• Promote customer satisfaction and greet all entering customers.
• Enforce disciplinary actions when needed.
• Perform all C‑store Manager duties in Manager’s absence.
• Maintain a positive teamwork attitude.
• Properly process fuel fleet transactions (Comdata, WEX, EFS, Fuelman).

The employee is regularly required to stand during shift, occasionally required to climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

• Valid State and Parish Certifications and Licenses, presented to management or official when required.
• Alcohol Beverage Ordinance Card (by Parish).
• Louisiana Responsible Vendors Permit.
• Valid State Driver’s License.
• Copy of Social Security Card.

Must have great communication/interpersonal skills and be able to multi‑task. Computer and cash handling experience required. Knowledge of Fleet Cards, Comdata and SSCS systems are a plus. Must be able to obtain any licenses within a reasonable timeframe. Salary will be based on experience.
