Essential Job Functions- Lead the store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
- Supervise the customer service levels in the retail showroom, including team member execution on customer service programs (Related sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, Rock the Lot, etc…).
- Work with the store manager to ensure the retail sales counter is adequately staffed, especially during peak retail business hours (lunch, late-afternoons, evenings, weekends, etc.)
- Assist the store manager in setting team member goals, providing feedback on goal achievement, coaching/mentoring team members, and ensuring team members stay current on their training.
- Assist in the hiring process by completing recruiting tasks, scheduling and participating in interviews, evaluating candidates, and collaborating with management to ensure the selection of qualified team members.
- Ensure the telephone is answered according to company policy.
- Ensure all buy online/ship to store, hub and store to store transfers, and DC add orders are processed timely, and customers are contacted upon shipment arrivals as needed.
- Utilize electronic outside purchase order ledger to ensure special orders and outside purchases are handled efficiently and in accordance with procedure.
- Process retail customer returns and exchanges efficiently and friendly; issue refunds accurately using correct payment methods; process or stage returned merchandise in the returns area correctly.
- Ensure all merchandise, including core charges and warranties, is invoiced before product leaves the store.
- Communicate Zipline messages and delegate Image Maker and merchandising tasks as assigned.
- Ensure team members comply with company policies, adhere to posted schedules, obtain approval for changes/deviations, and clock in/out appropriately.
- Perform all store opening/closing duties, including day end procedures, verify/securing money, preparing bank deposits, ensuring night security lights are on, locking doors, arming/disarming alarms, and securing delivery vehicles.
- Assist the store manager in maintaining building, parking lot, exterior signage/lighting, computer hardware, in-store service/test equipment, and delivery vehicles.
- All other duties as assigned.
Required:
- Sales Specialist Training
- Assistant Manager Certification
- RSS Certification
- Certified Parts Professional Certification
- ASE Certification
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired)
