Job Summary: The Fabricator will maintain a neat and orderly work area and fabricate parts to tolerance based on the requirements of the blue print. When there are any discrepancies with the prints or the parts, the fabricator must notify the team leader.

• Read and interpret shop orders, including drawings.
• Verify correct raw material or work in progress material.
• Work with stainless steel, mild steel and aluminum.
• Set up and operate press brakes for maximum productivity.
• Determine proper tooling to make progressive bends.
• Bend or joggle to the specified dimension.
• Maintain quality workmanship and tolerance specifications.
• Complete paperwork associated with work performed.
• Check products to ensure quality and uniform completion; resolve any identified problems and alert team leader.
• Keep floor free of obstructions and maintain good housekeeping.
• Maintain orderly tool area.
• Follow all safety rules.
• Understand and follow Job Safety Analysis for this position.
• Wear eye protection, hearing protection and gloves and any other designated PPE.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Ability to read and understand blueprints.
• LEAN manufacturing experience, preferred.
• Detail-oriented and consistent.
• Works well as a productive member of a team.
• Ability to properly maintain and perform basic repairs on equipment.
• Strong in mathematics.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination.
