Registered Nurse-Acute MedSurgical

The competent Nurse, in a similar clinical setting, practices independently, demonstrating awareness of all relevant aspects of patient care. Provides both routine and complex care, with the ability to plan long-term goals. Continues to develop skills to manage clinical contingencies and delegates appropriately to other care providers.

• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided.
• Assess learning needs and educate patients, families, and caregivers.

  Skills:
  
  Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Experience:
  
  1 year in a related nursing specialty preferred.
• Licenses/Certifications:
  
  BLS required; RN license in the state of employment or a compact license.
