At H2 Health, we believe great care begins with great clinicians. As a Pediatric Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in our outpatient clinic, you will provide meaningful, play-based therapy while supporting children and families in a collaborative, team-driven environment.
Our clinicians primarily serve children with autism spectrum disorder, speech and language delays, developmental delays, social communication challenges, articulation disorders, phonological disorders, and feeding or oral-motor difficulties. As an SLPA, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to help children develop communication skills and functional language abilities.
Your Role- Implement individualized treatment plans established by the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist
- Provide hands‑on therapy focused on articulation, expressive and receptive language, social communication, and feeding goals
- Use play‑based and structured interventions to promote engagement and progress
- Document treatment sessions accurately in Raintree EMR
- Communicate effectively with supervising SLP regarding patient progress and plan adjustments
- Partner with families and caregivers to promote carryover and consistency
- Contribute to a culture of clinical learning and peer support
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program (per state requirements)
- Active state SLPA license or eligibility for licensure
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
