Position: CNA/Activity Coordinator (Swing Bed)

Position Overview

Golden Plains Community Hospital is currently seeking a CNA/Activity Coordinator to work in our Case Management Department. The hours are Monday - Friday, 6 am – 2 pm.

Responsibilities

Develops and administers a comprehensive activity program to meet the interests and capabilities of the swing‑bed population. Assumes the responsibility to develop and administer a well‑rounded program.

Position Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent

Current CPR certification

Current CNA certification through the state of Texas

Tactful, pleasant and friendly approach in dealing with patients, staff, guests and individuals within the community

Willing to work with physically disabled and chronically ill individuals of all ages

Physically capable of participating in and conducting semi‑active programs

Understands human behavior and modification; capable of identifying signs of unfavorable symptoms such as fatigue and irritability
