We’re looking for a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated individual to join our award‑winning team as a Wellbeing and Activities Assistant at Elstree View Care Home in Borehamwood. If this sounds like the place for you, we’d love to hear from you!
Responsibilities- Support the Wellbeing Coordinator in providing a wide range of activities to engage and stimulate residents’ physical, cognitive, and social well‑being.
- Maintain a safe living and working environment, contributing to the positive and professional image of the home.
- Report any changes in residents’ physical or emotional condition to the Wellbeing and Activity Coordinator, Home Manager, and care staff.
- Assist with ordering and preparing supplies for upcoming activities as directed.
- Help establish links with the local community (e.g., schools, spiritual groups, museums/libraries) to encourage access to the wider community and promote intergenerational activity.

Ideal Candidate Must- Have effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrate an understanding of how the role contributes to the general well‑being of people.
- Have a positive attitude toward older people and a commitment to providing stimulating, quality activities and social events.
- Have previously worked with older people in a residential nursing dementia setting.
