Financial Controller

Location: Radlett

We are a growing company operating in two of the UK’s most dynamic sectors:
Solar Energy and Fibre Infrastructure. We are seeking a Financial Controller to lead our finance function and serve as a key pillar in our expansion.

This is a hands-on leadership role based in Radlett. You will be responsible for the full financial lifecycle of our infrastructure projects, ensuring robust controls, accurate project accounting, and strategic reporting to support our continued growth.

Essential Requirements

* Qualified Professional:
You must be a fully qualified Financial Controller (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).

* Construction Expertise:
Proven experience in a project-led Construction environment is essential.

* Compliance Mastery:
Deep technical knowledge of CIS (Construction Industry Scheme) and Domestic Reverse Charge VAT.

* Project Accounting:
Expert ability to manage Work in Progress (WIP) and revenue recognition for complex, multi-year infrastructure rollouts.

The Ideal Candidate

* Systems:
Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (or NAV) is highly desirable.

* Sector Background:
Prior experience in Renewables, Telecoms, or Utilities will be a significant advantage.

* Leadership: A proven track record of managing and developing a finance team.

Key Responsibilities

* Project Control:
Oversee the financial health of multi-million pound infrastructure projects from inception to completion.

* System Ownership:
Act as the lead for Business Central.

* Strategic Oversight:
Monitor project margins, manage cash flow for rapid scaling, and provide commercial insights to the senior leadership team.

* Team Management:
Lead and mentor the finance team
