Salary: £34,398 - £46,839 (dependent on experience)

We are working in partnership with a highly regarded secondary school in Shenley
, recognised for its commitment to creativity, academic achievement, and the professional development of both students and staff. The school offers a supportive and inclusive environment where artistic expression and personal growth are actively encouraged. They are now seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Art Teacher to join their team on a long-term basis.
This exciting opportunity would suit either an experienced Art Teacher or a motivated early-career teacher eager to inspire young people and nurture their creative potential. The successful candidate will teach Art and Design across KS3 and KS4
, with the opportunity to teach KS5 depending on experience.
Deliver engaging and well-structured Art lessons across KS3 and KS4 that inspire creativity and confidence.
Teach a wide range of artistic disciplines, including drawing, painting, sculpture, and digital media.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages experimentation, collaboration, and self-expression.
Assess, monitor, and track student progress, providing clear and constructive feedback.
Design and deliver creative projects that allow students to develop and showcase their artistic skills.
Contribute to curriculum development, ensuring lessons meet the needs of all learners.
Support the organisation of art exhibitions and school events to celebrate students' work within the school and wider community.
Plan and deliver high-quality Art lessons that promote creativity and technical skill development.
Encourage a practical, hands-on approach to learning across a range of artistic techniques.
Regularly assess student progress and provide guidance to support continuous improvement.
Support students in developing creativity, critical thinking, and confidence in their artistic abilities.
Work collaboratively within the Art department to deliver a stimulating and well-rounded curriculum.
Contribute to extracurricular activities, such as art clubs and creative events.
