Job description

Please note, this position is a fixed term contract for 6 months, ending 31 August 2026.

You will provide administrative and practical support for the marketing events calendar, assist with the delivery of events, and support other marketing tasks and projects when required.

Key Accountabilities
  • Support the planning, setup, delivery and follow-up of selected events
  • Assist with gathering information to help measure event KPIs as agreed with the Senior Marketing Manager and Events Team Lead
  • Ensure that events are visible and supported across the wider business
  • Assist with coordinating event materials and checking they follow brand and licensing guidelines
  • Support the tracking of event budgets and spend, flagging any issues to the Events Team Lead & Senior Marketing Manager
  • Provide administrative support across event planning, delivery and post-event reporting
  • Liaise with external event companies and agencies for day-to-day coordination
Key Responsibilities
  • Attend selected events during the contract period, including festivals, consumer and trade shows (Comic‑Con, UKGE, summer festivals)
  • Assist with coordinating vendors and suppliers to support with event logistics, following brand and quality guidelines
  • Support the preparation, ordering and organisation of games, promotional materials and POS
  • Act as a point of contact for external agencies and event organisers for day-to-day administrative queries
  • Provide administrative support across event planning, setup, delivery and post-event follow-up
  • Assist with tracking event budgets, processing invoices and supporting basic financial administration
  • Support event logistics for selected events, including schedules, bookings and documentation
  • Assist on site at live events with setup, coordination and escalating issues as needed
  • Provide administrative support for the Demonstrator team as required
Essential
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and time management skills
  • Flexible and able to problem solve and adapt quickly to changing demands with 'can-do’ attitude
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment which involves working with a range of different people and departments
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office programs, in particular Word, Excel, Publisher and Power Point
  • Creative mindset
  • Willingness to develop missing skillsets
  • Flexibility to travel in UK as required along with occasional weekend working/unsociable hours
  • Demonstrable previous events experience
  • Weekend and evening work expected as well as UK travel in line with events
  • A team player who builds strong working relationships and is willing to get stuck in
  • A valid UK driving license (Car)
Desirable

  • Previous Experience working with Events Companies
  • Enthusiasm and passion for board, card and role‑playing games
