The RoleWe’re seeking an ambitious Cook Supervisor to join our team and become a driving force behind an exceptional school catering facility. This isn’t just cooking; it’s a chance to use your flair and originality to elevate the entire dining experience and help establish this as one of the best school catering offers in the region. You’ll be a key player, assisting with both the operational excellence and financial performance of your kitchen.
This position will begin in April.
- Assisting with the managing and improving all controllable costs, including stock, food and labour.
- Supervise, coach, train and inspire your kitchen team to deliver excellence every day.
- Oversee menu development and drive sales through exciting monthly promotions and added-value events.
- Guarantee all standards, systems and essential legislation are met.
We’re looking for a passionate, hands‑on chef supervisor ready to take ownership of the kitchen’s day‑to‑day success. If you’re a dynamic chef who thrives on leading by example and driving standards, you’ll need:
- Hands‑On Excellence:
Fantastic craft skills with a genuine commitment to using fresh ingredients to deliver exceptional quality food. - Motivational Leader:
Proven supervisory experience, you know how to coach, motivate and inspire to develop a happy, high‑performing team. - Safety Focus:
Excellent knowledge of health and safety practices.
- 35 hours per week.
- 39 weeks per year – what will you do with all that time off?
- £16.13 per hour.
