The Standard Market Company is a leading gourmet food retailer, and we’re looking for motivated, reliable, and professional individuals to join our Production Kitchen team. Located at the vibrant Ferry Road Markets, our kitchen produces high-quality food products for our Quench juice bars, Delis, and other outlets across the region.

We create a wide range of offerings, including fresh salads, gourmet sandwiches, ready‑made meals, and seasonal specialties – all prepared with premium ingredients and a focus on quality.

• Experienced Chefs/Cooks – Full Time
  Monday to Friday | 9:30am – 6:00pm
  Join our culinary team and help craft fresh, high‑quality meals in a supportive kitchen environment.
• Kitchen Attendants – Casual – Full-Time hours available
  Early Morning Shift | 3:30am – 11:30am – Monday to Sunday
  Perfect for early risers! Assist with food preparation and production for our daily service.
• Kitchen Hand/Dishwashing – Casual
  Monday to Friday | 30+ hours per week | 9:30am – 6:00pm
  Support our kitchen operations with cleaning, prep assistance, and general kitchen duties. Great entry point into the food industry.

• Availability for early morning starts (3:30am highly regarded)
• Physically fit and capable of lifting, carrying, and storing stock and kitchen equipment
• Strong communication skills and English proficiency
• Previous experience in a commercial or production kitchen setting
• Sound knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards
• Well‑presented and professional appearance
• Availability during peak holiday seasons

• Work in a supportive, team‑focused environment
• Be part of a well‑established and respected gourmet food brand
• Consistent hours and weekday‑focused roles (with some weekend shifts)
