We are supporting a global food production organisation in Liverpool who are looking to add a Support Technician to their Brocklebank Operation.

This role plays an important part in keeping both the Crush and Refinery areas running safely, efficiently and in line with operational standards. About the role This position suits someone who enjoys hands-on work within an industrial environment, is comfortable supporting different parts of the operation and has a flexible mindset when it comes to covering shifts, absences and training needs.

Hours:

Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm RESPONSIBILITIES - Daily Operations Support - Assist the Manufacturing Coordinator with day-to-day activities, contributing to continuous improvement across the site.

- Help maintain smooth running of plant operations, including the movement and handling of materials, products and chemicals.

- Provide support during shutdowns, start-ups and periods of long-term absence, with the flexibility to move into shift cover where needed.

- Safety, Compliance and Housekeeping - Maintain high housekeeping standards across the plant and support compliance with audit requirements.

- Use SAP to report maintenance issues, hazards and safety concerns identified during the shift.

- Follow strict safe working practices and promote safety culture among colleagues and contractors. Additional Responsibilities - Support training activities by covering for operators attending development sessions.

- Assist with first aid, shutdown activities, audits and other operational needs as required.

- Participate in problem solving and improvement initiatives within a self-managed team environment.
